What a joy it was to spend some time with the Maxwell's and do a family photo session!

They made it so much fun and the time that we spent with them flew past altogether too fast.

Brian & Amy - Engagement Ring

The engagement ring is such a special part of the relationship and the wedding.  Brave guys (like myself)  go over details of tons of rings to find the perfect one for their bride-to-be and offer it with the hope of that perfect moment when she says "YES!"

Brian picked out this ring for Amy, and during the shoot last Saturday, I couldn't help but give it it's own little time in the spotlight.

We had a wonderful time with Brian and Amy, wandering through the gardens at Cantigny Park and doing an engagement session for them.  It doesn't take long to see that this couple is really in love and they are such a perfect match.

Loving the laugh...

One of my favorite moments during a photo shoot is when the subjects loosen up, forget I am there for a second and just laugh out loud. 

With Reid, we had no problem getting those moments.  His jokes kept us all laughing and I love the energy and fun in this picture of the two lovebirds.
