The Stables

I have told myself time and again over the past six months that I needed to bring my camera along to work and snap a few pictures of a few of the 120 horses at the farm.  Now that it looks like I will be done working at the stables within the next few weeks, I finally got ambitious and took a few pictures over lunch break of a few of the horses that I take care of every day.

It looks like someone just had a dust bath. 

This horse totally did not get the idea of a telephoto lens...even after I explained it very clearly to him! :o)

Photography lessons with Britton Felber

 I had the opportunity of getting some great learning time in with the most awesome Britton Felber. He is a friend as well as an amazing photographer and teacher. Rob Bennett also came along for the shoot and I picked up some valuable shooting tips from him as well.   I felt very out of the general skill range, but they both quickly made me feel comfortable and helped me understand some of the, what, whys and wherefores of photography.
